BullionProtect® – security ink for 1 kg gold bars

For larger bars, especially 1 kg cast gold bars, METALOR uses a special security technology called BullionProtect®, developed in collaboration with the Swiss company SICPA – a global leader in security solutions for currencies and secure documents.
A high-security ink is applied directly to the surface of the bar, weighing less than 20 mg and adding no measurable impact to the bar’s properties, yet providing an additional layer of protection.

The same technology is used in the production of banknotes and passports, where anti-counterfeiting resistance is critical.
